The production is dark and raw, reminiscent of Company Flow.

All but a select few graduate students in literature would even accidentally approach the works of the 17th century metaphysical works of John Donne. That said, I would venture to guess that about as many individuals will come across the works of 21st century St. Louis rapper Wut Metaphysical. The production is dark and raw, reminiscent of Company Flow, but El-P Wut is not. The extensive inference to religion and the blocky delivery may ultimately garner a Myrrh Award, but it is highly unlikely to even turn many underground fans, much less a non-Christian mainstream. | Jon Rayfield
