LOW KEY COMICS TAKES SUPER HEROES ON A SATIRIC SPIN WITH EVERYMAN #1

Charlotte, NC, November 27, 2007 - Low Key Comics is pleased to announce the release of EVERYMAN #1, the first part of a new four-issue miniseries from the small publisher. Following on the heels of the titular hero's first appearance in the anthology LOW KEY COMICS #1, the solo series' debut issue is available for purchase now at IndyPlanet.com before being released to select independent comic stores beginning in December.

James Johnson is a shadow of his former self. Once a promising high school baseball star, his life has degraded into a dismal routine of work and subservience. Now a garbage man with a domineering wife, ungrateful son, and cantankerous father-in-law, James accidentally discovers his latent super powers.

Part Married...with Children, part American Beauty, the naturalism of 60s Marvel with an underground sensibility. EVERYMAN is a super hero satire with a little something for everyone...except maybe kids.
