Remixed is not a complete waste. It is one of those works that will help fill the room when cocktails and smoke fill the air and you need to put a little action into the hips of the partygoers. The problem, though, is that the original release does it so much better. Before you run out and buy the new CD, take some time and get a copy of the initial release and get a feel for what a freewheeling, soul-filled, funky jazz album can do for you. Sometimes you should not fool around with Mother Nature.
