This is a huge, tight, smart, hard-rocking EP by a band that plays big and still retains indie sensibilities. That said, it sounds like it should’ve come out ten years ago. Cold Dead Hands have perfected their sound and it’s hard to believe they don’t have a record deal, what with all these fake-rockers like Nickelback doing everything wrong that this band does right. This is a near-flawless EP and a great listen for anyone who wants big, no-frills rock that isn’t ironic or stupid. Even though it’s a decade too late to sound fresh. A- | Gabe Bullard
