With the release of their new EP Piece of the Indestructible, the L.A. trio The Glitch Mob will be bringing their electronic circus to The Pageant on September 3rd, 2015. Composed of members edIT, Boreta, and Ooah, the electronic group is hot off the heels of its last full-length LP, Love Death Immortality, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

With the new single “Better Run, Better Hide” featuring Mark Johns and a remix of Metallica’s “Lords of Summer” just released, the band has been quite busy. They now bring new material to audiences, courtesy of a painted and customized monster called The Blade, which houses lights and instruments. The Blade made its debut on the band’s last tour and was built by special effects artists.

Live, the band is bombastic. A ton of lights and a thundering sound make for one hell of a visual and sonic experience. Tracks like “Mind of a Beast,” and “Can’t Kill Us” blast forth from The Blade with ultimate precision. Much more than just three guys with keyboards and computers, The Glitch Mob is truly an electronic juggernaut, and should not be missed by any EDM fan. Chris Martin of L.A. Weekly stated, “(They) have, undoubtedly, found the largest audience of any L.A. beat scene artist yet.”

Join The Glitch Mob on September 3rd at The Pageant. Tickets are available through The Pageant’s box office or through www.ticketmaster.com. | Marc Farr
