The Breaks | Free Dance Party at The Firebird

If you know anything at all about these four fantastic acts, then you know you’re in for one killer party.

For generations of artists playing original music, the question invariably remains: “How the hell do we get people off their La-Z-Boys and into the hot club in the cold town for a rock ‘n’ roll party?” Now, you’re probably thinking of something ridiculous like suggesting they do a free show, right? Well, St. Louis’ own The Breaks must be completely losing their minds, because that’s precisely what they have in store.
The Breaks are christening a free party at The Firebird this Sunday night, which, if successful, could mean more local music showcases offered at no charge to STL music fans in the future. The Breaks will be joined by wonderfully hooky pop-rockers Palace and two mega-skilled DJs well known to dance-floor aficionados: Found Future and opener, DJ TrashTalk. If you know anything at all about these four fantastic acts, then you know you’re in for one killer party.
Here’s what you to do to get into this party for free: snap a pic of the flyer online (here) or on the street and show it to the door guy. You can also print the flyer as your own ticket, or grab a free ticket from one of the bands or DJs. Simple, right?
So all of you headphone recluses, come on out to The Firebird and support some of the best talent our city has to offer. Who knows? You may even walk away a lifelong fan. | Jim Ousley

The Breaks, Palace, Found Future, and DJ TrashTalk will be performing on Sunday, March 27th at 8pm at The Firebird. For information visit www.TheRealBreaks.com.
