On Tour: Rae Sremmurd

Music plays an emotional role in the brothers’ lives that is more than just putting on shows and creating hot tracks.

This fall, you’ll have the chance to catch Rae Sremmurd on their second national tour. Joining the duo this time around will be featured rappers Lil Yachty, Eearz, Bobo Swae, and Impxt.

Expect to see two brothers, completely comfortable with each other and themselves, acting absolutely crazy on a stage that might not be able to contain them. This will be your surprisingly energetic dose of the ScremmLife Tour II. The concert will be full of simply made beats, rock ’n’ roll influences, and the largest selection of new-aged hip-hop you will ever feast your ears on in one setting.

Rae Sremmurd is two brothers from Tupelo, Mississippi—Khalif “Swae Lee” Brown and Aaquil “Slim Jimmy” Brown—whose hits, including “No Type” and the new “Black Beetles,” make noise on seemingly every station. Slim Jimmy and Swae Lee bring an extremely energetic feel to music that is not like your average rap, but more inclusive. These boys are fans of rock ’n’ roll, and bring that rock flavor to their live performances, as well as incorporating guitar riffs, famous rock movements, and beats that make you nod your head.

Growing up together in abandoned houses, the pair used music to release themselves from their everyday struggles. As a result, music plays an emotional role in their lives that is more than just putting on shows and creating hot tracks. This rap career is their livelihood, something sure to show during their concert just as much as it does through their music.

Lil Yachty will be the second-in-line for this show and he is nothing short of a riot, as well. Featured on the song “Broccoli” with Big Baby D.R.A.M. and his most popular underground hit, “One Night,” Lil Yachty is gradually receiving recognition for his hand in the rap industry.

You can expect to see crazy clothing combinations, hip kids on guitars, and a large variety of rap from a wide range of new-school rappers. If you’re looking for a young crowd and an energetic performance, make sure to catch this show.
