On Tour: Keller Williams

Williams is teaming up with legendary folk and delta blues guitarist Leo Kottke for a unique evening of music and storytelling.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams is going back to his musical roots. Instead of the plethora of instruments he usually employs onstage, this time he will only have his acoustic guitar. Williams is teaming up with legendary folk and delta blues guitarist Leo Kottke for a unique evening of music and storytelling.

The “Shut the Folk Up & Listen” tour started in January 2016, with the two songwriters currently in the midst of playing intimate shows at performing art centers across the country. The tour features individual acoustic sets from each artist, with Williams joining Kottke on stage for the end of the first set, before using the performance of one of his musical idols as inspiration for his own second set. | Jamie Schroeder
