On Tour: Bryan Adams

No matter what type of music is trendy at the moment, Bryan Adams is still relevant, still revered, and still rockin’.


At age 56, Bryan Adams is still a force to be reckoned with. The Canadian-born singer, songwriter, and photographer had been shelling songs since 1983, and his raspy voice and pop-kissed hits continues to resonate with fans. One of the best-selling artists of all time, Adams has sold over 100 million albums and singles worldwide.

His newest effort, Get Up!, marks his 17th album. Hitting the road for his 17th tour, as well, Adams stops in St. Louis to play the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre. With 69 singles under his belt, he has a vast catalogue to choose from. Yet, certain hits are bound to find themselves on this year’s set list. Mega hits like “Cuts Like a Knife,” “Summer of ’69,” and the über-popular “Heaven” are just some of the great tunes that will undoubtedly be played.

Adams’ song, “Everything I Do (I Do for You),” is one of the best-selling singles of all time. That’s quite an accomplishment. Adams has always been true to his style of straightforward, pop-laced rock ’n’ roll. He has survived the turning of the musical tides many times, always managing to ride the wave of success. He has always been in style.

Outside of music, he excels at photography, having held many photo exhibits. He is also the head of the Bryan Adams Foundation, which focuses on bringing educational opportunities to children around the world. The fund is mostly financed by Adams himself.

Singer, songwriter, photographer, Grammy winner, and philanthropist, Adams has achieved success beyond his wildest dreams, and continues to give back. He is grateful for his success.
