On Tour: Anthrax

Anthrax has held its following through eight albums of consistently critically acclaimed, powerful musicianship.

Anthrax has been melting faces for 36 years. Consider this: They were one of the very first thrash metal bands, starting in New York in 1981. Regardless of the band members throughout the years, Anthrax has continued that driving music that brought them to fame all those years ago.

Starting with Fistful of Metal in 1984, Anthrax has held its following through eight albums of consistently critically acclaimed, powerful musicianship. I would expect each stop on their tour to sell out. There is an element of rebellion in every Anthrax song, something that makes it permissible to take off your tie and jacket, spike up your hair, and crash into the mosh pit. You’re never too old to rock. | Melissa Cynova
