There’s snow on the ground and tonight at The Pageant there will be an abundance of holiday spirit in the air for Home(s) for the Holidays: A Rockin’ Winter Concert.

Performing at the event are St. Louis cover band Vote For Pedro, My 2 Planets, Soul Kiss, and Out of Focus, performing renditions of several holiday tunes with musical influence from U2, Train, Norah Jones, Sting, Michael McDonald and Stevie Wonder. But first, the Villa Duchesne Show Choir and St. Louis University High School Varsity Chorus will kick things off.

The evening will benefit Covenant House Missouri (CHMO), who helps 6,000 homeless and at-risk St. Louis youth, ranging in age from 16 to 21, every year. CHMO assists with basic needs, including shelter, food, clothes, hygiene, etc.

“Home is something we all value most about the holidays,” said Ron James, Director, Development and Communications for Covenant House, Missouri in a press release. “We nurture (the teens) and believe in them. That is really what makes a home…it’s the place where people accept you as you are and believe in what you can be. That is what we try to give these kids.” | Megan Washausen

The concert is at 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available now at The Pageant box office, Suite 100, Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster retail outlets, or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
