The popular outdoor music festival, The Lot, presented annually by Metropolis St. Louis, is celebrating its 10 year anniversary with an exceptional array of local music acts. The festival this year features nationally recognized rock group, So Many Dynamos, along with Alvin Jett and Phat Noiz, The Monads, The Feed, LOGOS, Earthworms, The Funky Butt Brass Band, and a farewell performance by Victoria. The Lot will take place from 4 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Saturday, August 23 in the parking lot of the Schlafly Tap Room. The event is for all ages and free to the public.

St. Louisans and visitors will enjoy local music and performances along with a variety of booths and displays from local business and non-profit organizations. Food and Schlafly beer will be onsite as well and, as always, side-acts and street performers will entertain the crowd between sets in addition to live art and guest DJs. Since 1998, the Lot Music Festival and Showcase has been a part of Metropolis’ ongoing mission to promote the city of St. Louis and all it has to offer. The festival, like the city of St. Louis itself, has grown more diverse and exciting every year and attendance this year is expected to far exceed last year’s event, which drew more than 2,500 people.
