Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra to Play Hungarian Rhythm.

news_hungarian.jpgFrom the banks of the Blue Danube, the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra takes you on a musical tour of the republic of Hungary in Hungarian rhythm.







Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra Musical Director David Robertson and violin soloist Joo Kim lead the SLSO in an exploration of the music of this country in Hungarian rhythm.  Hungarian music combines the sophistication of the country’s capitol with the spirit of the countryside and life along the famed Danube River.

Pre-concert social hour, with bar and appetizers with beer samplings, begins at 5:30pm on Thursday, March 13th, 2008.  The one-hour concert begins at 6:30pm. The concert will take place at Powell Symphony Hall, in St. Louis’ historic Grand Center, 718 North Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO.

Tickets are $20 for General Admission, $30 per ticket for Reserved Center Floor.  Tickets may be purchased online at or at the Powell Hall Box Office by phone at 314-534-1700 or in person at 718 North Grand Blvd.
