The Missouri Botanical Garden continues its annual Arbor Day tradition by offering free tree saplings for visitors on Friday, Apr. 4. The trees will be given away inside the Kemper Center pavilion, located on the west side of the Garden grounds where you may pick from a shumard oak, bald cypress, or black gum. The Saplings are available at a first-come, first-served; limit one per person, starting at 9 a.m. Each of the three varieties offered this year are Missouri native, ornamental trees.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $8 for adults (St. Louis City and County residents, $4 adults, $2 seniors age 65 and over). Children age 12 and under are free.
