Deflowered in St. Louis | 5.19

jon-ginoli-promo-photo.jpgPansy Division’s Jon Ginoli will read from, discuss and autograph copies of Deflowered on Tuesday, May 19, 7:00pm at Left Bank Books. He will also be performing a brief set. Jon Ginoli is the founder and lead singer of the revolutionary gay rock band Pansy Division, the first out and proud queer core deflowered-book-cover.jpgpunk rock band to hit the semi-big time. Ginoli’s new book, Deflowered, follows his journey of self-discovery and musical passion in creating Pansy Division. Set against the changing decades of music, the book shows the highs–touring with Green Day–and the lows–homophobic fans–of striving for acceptance and success in the world of rock.

Jon Ginoli will read from, discuss and autograph copies of Deflowered on Tuesday, May 19, 7:00pm at Left Bank Books , 399 N. Euclid in the Central West End. He will also play some acoustic versions of Pansy Division songs on his guitar!

This event is free and open to the public. Books for signing are available for purchase from Left Bank Books and at the event.
