The Bloodfest Club | Madrid and Ousley Are Back

“The Bloodfest Club” is the directorial debut of Oscar Madrid and stars (sometimes PLAYBACK:stl contributor) Jim Ousley as addled-but-good-hearted janitor Sonny Kane.

 

 

Could Sonny Kane be the hero that horror fans have been waiting for? St. Louis indie filmmakers Oscar Madrid and Jim Ousley are ready to answer that very question with the debut of the trailer for their horror-comedy short, “The Bloodfest Club.”

Madrid and Ousley will be appearing at Contamination 2011: The Sequel, June 24-26 at the Sheraton Westport Chalet. They’ll have lots of great stuff on display, including the trailer, behind-the-scenes footage, and some cool alien zombie stuff!

In “The Bloodfest Club,” a Chuck Norris-obsessed high school janitor is forced to confront the face of evil on graduation night.

“The Bloodfest Club” is the directorial debut of Oscar Madrid and stars Jim Ousley as addled-but-good-hearted janitor Sonny Kane. The film also stars Madison Burke as Marissa, Carson Kelley as Chris, Eddie Perino as Tango, Caroline Rouse as Tiffany, and Peter Mayer as Sensei Noddy.

Madrid and Ousley are launching the short film in preparation for a feature-length version of “The Bloodfest Club,” which is in the early stages on pre-production. The film, penned by Madrid and Ousley, will be their follow-up to their award-winning debut comedy feature film, Hooch & Daddy-O.
