Contamination, St. Louis’ own Horror, Sci-Fi & Pop Culture Convention, took place at the Westport Sheraton Chalet this past weekend (June 24-26, 2011). Here’s some of what was happening there.
Business was light early in the day but was picking up by the afternoon, as is evident from the line at the box office.
Chris Aiello ("Big Daddy") provided sound for Contamination 2011.
All kinds of logoed merchandise was available for sale.
Who says books are dead? Authors and publishers were well represented at Contamination 2011, including Post Mortem Press of Cincinnati, Ohio: these are just some of the books they brought to sell.
For those weary of the conventional shape of their ears, Spiral Fae Accents offered a number of prosthetic alternatives.
The movie room was not scheduled for quite 24 hours per day but came close.
If you felt the need for added entertainment, a zombie hunt was offered.
