The Southern Cali staple station has an exciting few months coming up.

Southern California’s KCRW will once again be featured at Austin’s SXSW Music Conference and Festival. It’s always been a blast in the past so be sure to catch Ozomatli, Mike Snow, Fanfarlo, Choir of Young Believers, Soko, and Fitz and the Tantrums at the Official Night Showcase on Wednesday, March 17, at The Galaxy Room Patio. From noon to 3 pm on Saturday, March 20, KCRW’s Official Day Showcase at the Convention Center will feature Rogue Wave, The Middle East, and Lissie.

In addition to the SXSW showcases, there is some exciting stuff coming up for the station. Jason Bentley’s morning show, Morning Becomes Eclectic, is hosting a slew of talent in February. Keep an ear out at 11.15 am for Annie Clark’s (The Polyphonic Spree, Sufjan Stevens) new project, St. Vincent, on February 10, and Scottish singer Angela McCluskey on February 19. Author Nick Hornby is next week’s featured Guest DJ and Peter Gabriel’s new album, Scratch My Back, will be previewed in its entirety on Monday.
To become a member, visit kcrw.com and scope the tons of upcoming shows in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and surrounding Southern Cali.
