The latest Hugh Jackman movie is looking to cast a lead role.

Hugh Jackman’s latest project, “Real Steel,” and DreamWorks Studios is looking for a young male (age 10-14) to play Jackman’s son. Interested actors can submit a videotaped audition to www.realsteelcasting.com. Full instructions are available on the website.
There is also an open casting call in New York City on Saturday, February 20th. Auditions will be held from 11am to 4pm at Shelter Studios, 244 W. 54th Street, 12th Floor, NYC 10019-5515.
No experience is necessary and the actor does not need to have anything prepared. The character is described as “a street-smart, tough, charming kid with a hard, untrusting outer shell which hides a warm enthusiastic spirit beneath. He is a complicated, strong-willed and resourceful boy.”
