Cloud Cult Announce Double-Disc Reissue

They Live on the Sun
and
Aurora Borealis
- Remixed, Remastered and with Bonus Tracks
Cloud Cult is releasing a double-disc reissue of two of their earliest albums,
They Live on the Sun
(2003) and
Aurora Borealis
(2004). Both
are out-of-print, home recorded releases, that are re-envisioned by Cloud Cult's Craig Minowa, and include previously unreleased bonus tracks.
For the first time they will be available nationwide, and pre-orders will be available at the band's
website
in "late November."
They Live on the Sun
was called a "sweeping indie epic" by Pitchfork.
Aurora Borealis
is compared to Wilco as, "confident, mature, honest,
inventive, eclectic, and unremittingly catchy" by PopMatters. Despite limited release, and turning down major labels along the way, these
albums helped Cloud Cult meet great success and propelled them onto the national scene.
The band has played Coachella for the first time this year, and made their first late night TV debut on Last Call with Carson Daly. After
co-headlining a tour with Margot and The Nuclear So and So’s, Cloud Cult plans to follow-up the Winter reissue with a Spring 2010 tour, and a
new album release in Fall 2010.
