The Christmas season is upon us once again and thankfully The Fabulous Fox Theatre is playing host to the equally as fabulous Mannheim Steamroller for this year’s seasonal performance of The Christmas Music of Mannheim Steamroller. Having recently undergone surgery, creator and producer, Chip Davis has opted-out of the tour but has made all the arrangements for their annual multimedia state of the art tour complete with everything needed for one spectacular season. In order to keep the 20 year tradition, Davis has put together two troupes for this season’s show, both uniform in everyway, with one troop performing along the East Coast and the other performing simultaneously within the Western and Mid-western regions. While each touring ensemble has different cast members, every aspect of the show from the set list to the light show has been choreographed so that both audiences enjoy identical performances.

This year’s seasonal performance from the internationally known troupe will include some of the music from their recently released album Christmasville. Once asked by Universal Orlando to compose the music for the theme park’s musical Grinchmas, Mannheim Steamroller has now released their creative work on a soundtrack for everyone to enjoy this Christmas. The album consists of Davis’ Grinch-inspired tracks in addition to new takes on traditional Grinch songs all in contemporary style for a seamless and modern Grinchmas tale. The album also marks the first time Mannheim Steamroller has taken on vocals to their work. Other songs on the list of Christmas medleys to be performed are some of their more traditional and more famous songs like "Silent Night", "Angels We Have Heard On High", and "Deck the Halls". Best known for their fresh takes on Christmas classics and vivid light production, this year’s Christmas performance is destined to continue the tradition with old and new fans alike.
