Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself 

Hello Playback:stl readers. I am your friendly Live Music Editor and I am starting this new pop culture blog. As you’d imagine, I really enjoy music (especially going to concerts), but I also love pretty much anything pop-culture related: movies, TV (reality and otherwise), books, celebrities, fashion, art, theater, you name it. I even wrote my masters thesis on MTV. If you can read about it in People magazine, then I probably know about it.

This blog will consist of my personal opinions and ramblings on all things pop culture and anything that happens to generally interest or annoy me. It will not necessarily be insightful or deep or cause you to have any great revelations. Hopefully it will be at least mildly entertaining and possibly cause you to chuckle at times. That’s all I’m really going for. That and emptying out the multitude of random thoughts I have running around in my head after a long day in this media-saturated world.
