The Shout Out Louds played as part of the Filter Magazine showcase at the Cedar Street Courtyard. This is my favorite place to see bands and my favorite event each year. In the past I have seen some fantastic bands at this venue (couple of years back it was an amazing performance by Kaiser Chiefs). This day it was a particularly bright day with temperatures in the 90s. Due to a line-up that proved perfect I never left the spot I had in the front row. No water, hot sun on my back, perfect music in front added up to a great day.

Shooting black and white in the full sun always produces some wild shots. I was happy with the tones this band Swedes produced. While they complained about getting tans that would make their country-mates jealous I wondered about sun screen.
