Wilson's talent for conjuring powerful imagery continues throughout Time Changes Everything, complimented by her succulent story-telling voice. "Time Changes Everything" is told in the voice of quiet sorrow, and "Fedora" melts the listener's heart with a coquettish appeal reminiscent of Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

In addition to Wilson's ability to evoke intense imagery with her music, a unique sense of nonconformity is expressed in its collaboration.
