Lead singer Brian's perfectly styled blonde hair and pretty-boy face may have garnered the attention of countless 15-year-old girls in attendance, but his near-perfect vocals and the entire band's excellent stage presence definitely helped build a place in their memory to take Daddy's debit card to the nearest record store.

It doesn't take much to entertain 2,000 kids who have been staring at an empty stage for the last hour and a half. But when you're opening for the teenie-boppers Fall Out Boy, the crowd can quickly turn against you at any moment in favor of a "We want Fall Out Boy" chant. Luckily for Bellmore, New York's Permanent Me, the crowd instantly got on board with their pop-punk-flavored music and stayed entertained the entire set.

Touring in support of their soon-to-be released album After the Room Clears, Permanent Me wasted no time making sure everyone knew they were more than musically qualified to run with the more established bands New Found Glory and Fall Out Boy on the "Friends or Enemies" tour. Lead singer Brian's perfectly styled blonde hair and pretty-boy face may have garnered the attention of countless 15-year-old girls in attendance, but his near-perfect vocals and the entire band's excellent stage presence definitely helped build a place in their memory to take Daddy's debit card to the nearest record store and buy anything with the name "Permanent Me" on it. Their musical talent by far surpassed that of headliners Fall Out Boy, and if justice truly does exist, their future will also. | Brandon Wann
