Radio's not getting any better, so here's my suggestion...

Immediately ban the following acts from each and every station worldwide, and discourage any and all similar forays into mediocrity. It's about time we embraced creativity and talent over pablum.

• Hootie & the Blowfish
• Melissa Etheridge
• Gin Blossoms
• Sheryl Crow
• Michael Bolton
• Celine Dion
• Barenaked Ladies
• Any and all artists who got their start on American Idol

(I reserve the right to add to this list.)
