Our first year of publication. We were black and white, but grew
quickly. In our first year we interviews They Might Be Giants, OK Go,
Jack Johnson, Elbow, Nadine, and a host of other music makers and
artists from all over. This listing should help you find some articles
on our Web site and perhaps get you to pick up a few of our copies from
the special vault where we keep them.

Long before they hit the boy dance band circuit, they
appeared on our cover and also posed with ferrets. Issue also contains
an interview with Jonathan Richman that allowed an associate editor to
speak directly to Mr. Richman on the phone (yes, he sounds just the
same on the phone).
