Out February 28 on Nettwerk; have a listen...
trespassers william became a presence in the North American music scene when their second studio album, different stars, was re-released by Nettwerk Music Group worldwide in 2004. Called “Gently mesmerizing...haunting” by NME, different stars hinted at influences of ambient, folk and shoegaze, establishing the band as subtle, nuanced songwriters.
Since recording different stars in 2003, the group toured internationally with acts such as Damien Rice, Stereolab and Morrissey. In the U.S., they also have had much success in the TV and film world: Two tracks off of different stars were licensed to the hit Fox television series The O.C., “lie in the sound” was featured on the fall 2004 premiere of the WB’s One Tree Hill, and two tracks appeared in the film Love Song for Bobby Long, starring John Travolta and Scarlet Johansson. The song “different stars” appeared in the Disney film Annapolis.
