Watch out Hot Topic: You'll have a new band's T-shirt to sell soon.

This is what I imagine would be the band's sound of the guy who is
trying to sell me a guitar at Guitar Center. He'd take down a gnarly
looking Ibanez, plug it in, and commence to wail, headbang, and
melodically scream all at once. Oh, and he'd have some type of
articulately shaved facial hair.
Vaeda is the band with a solid, hard-rock sound put together in a
package aimed to reach FM airwaves and stadium venues around the
country, maybe even the world. State of Nature is a tight, energetic, and talented alternative pop album. But that doesn't mean it's awesome.
Their mantra is a revised version of Spiderman's Uncle Ben's wise
words: "With great rock, comes great responsibility." Hey, if you take
that shit seriously, more power to you, but that makes me want to
defecate all over their ego. Pop alternative rock, albeit good, can be
so full of itself that it makes it seem like everything else I've
heard/seen before.
