Compositions for the Young & Old, Interlude | The Important Part

It’s why we’re all here.

Eighteen articles covering fifteen albums and two EPs in probably over 50,000 words, all in a span of less than four weeks: yeah, the two of us have been busy, but we’ve been loving every minute of it. We hope you all have been enjoying our jawing about Bob, but with all of our discussion of Bob’s past, we wanted to post a reminder and draw attention to why we’re doing this in the first place. So don’t forget: the inimatable Bob Mould (and his crack band, Verbow’s Jason Narducy and Superchunk’s Jon Wurster) will be performing TODAY, Friday, September 19, at the Old Rock House. It promises to be a phenomenal show, and it’s Bob’s first appearance in our fair city in nine excruciatingly long years. So come down to the Old Rock House and find us. We’ll be in the guys in the front, completely losing our minds.

More info on the show can be found at http://oldrockhouse.com/event/bob-mould-band/. We’ll see you back here next week with our thoughts on Bob’s albums from this decade past, starting with 2005’s Body of Song. | Jason Green & Mike Koehler
