The film, directed by long-time Clash collaborator and Grammy-winning producer Don Letts (Westway To The World) will trace The Clash’s formation as a band using live footage from their entire career. The film begins with live-in-the-studio clips and culminates in a performance at New York’s Shea Stadium in 1982.

With rare and previously unreleased footage from all over the world, this film showcases their electrifying live performances, and that’s sure to please diehard Clash fans as well as more subdued afficionados.

PBS will air an edited version of the DVD as part of a pledge drive program in March, and the DVD will hit stores in the U.S. on April 15.
