Swedish band Shout Out Louds will be releasing their new album Work on Febuary 23, 2010.  Work will be the band’s third album, and was recorded in Seattle and produced by Phil Ek (The Shins, Fleet Foxes).

After touring behind their previous record, Our Ill Wills, the band went their separate ways.  Singer/songwriter Adam Olenius penned many of the new songs while in Australia using only a small synthesizer, acoustic guitar, and Garageband on his laptop. The songs were then passed on to the others and the band collaborated until Work was complete.

Contrary to Our Ill Wills before, the sound of Work has been "stripped down."  The band lost their percussionist and strings section and tried to keep things "organic."

"Walls" was the first single completed for the album and you can download it for free here:

Shout Out Louds plans to tour most of 2010 and more information can be found at Merge Records.
