Singer/songwriter Mike Doughty will bring his Question Jar Show to the West Coast for two weeks of club dates in May. The Question Jar Show features Doughty and cellist/guitarist/straightman Andrew "Scrap" Livingston playing acoustic versions of Doughty’s repertoire and answering written questions that fans have placed in a jar prior to the show. The 13-date run begins May 1 in San Diego and continues through May 15 in Seattle, with stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver and other cities in between. Prior to the U.S. dates, Doughty will tour outside North America for the first time in nearly a decade. In addition to stops in Portugal, and Japan, Doughty will tour German clubs for two weeks in March.

Doughty spent February at Yaddo, an artists’ community located on a 400-acre estate in Saratoga Springs, New York, working on two new projects: writing songs for the next Mike Doughty album, as well as producing tracks for his dance music side project, Dubious Luxury. In addition to his regular musings on his own blog (www.mikedoughty.com/blog/), Doughty is also writing occasionally for the Huffington Post. Browse his posts at: www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-doughty
