"’Life Is Wrong’…builds up to such an apex that if you look down during the chorus, you’re likely to get vertigo…As Schiltz keens…you hear a band standing on the brink of something grand and without end…"

"Think U2 on speed."
– Playboy on "No Direction"

"Longwave makes music on a large scale, rife with high, chiming guitars, bold basses and choruses meant to ricochet around the far walls of the world’s great arenas…the regrouped band has come back with their boldest and most irresistible music yet’"
– New York Daily News

"Welcome back."
– Alternative Press

As the band begins a string of headlining shows on the west coast, Longwave announces a new week of dates in the new year, beginning January 16th in Atlanta and wrapping up in Boston on January 24th.  The band is also confirmed to open for OK Go on five dates this March.

The Brooklyn-based band’s first album in three years, Secrets Are Sinister, was released November 11th on Original Signal Recordings.  Receiving the best reviews of the band’s career, the album moved the New York Daily News to note, "It’s what Coldplay might sound like if they really did rock."

Longwave will also make in-studio appearances in the next week at a number of radio stations, including: KCRW’s ‘Morning Becomes Eclectic’ today at 11:15am PT; Live on KEXP on Sunday December 14th at 2pm PT; and KCMP on Tuesday December 16th at 2pm CT.  The band performed on WOXY’s show ‘Future Sounds’ earlier this week – the show’s schedule can be seen here: http://futuresounds.blogspot.com/.
