Top Albums of 2012 | Michael Koehler

best2012 sq

Another very strong year. I actually had a hard time paring my list down to this. There were quite a few albums I would have included, but I tried limiting the number as my list was rapidly approaching 50 albums. These are not in any order.

1. Richard Hawley | Standing at the Sky’s Edge

Without a doubt, SATSE takes the top prize for 2012. There is so much right going on with Hawley’s release this year, that any flaws one could find is really just nitpicking. This is my review from earlier this year for a more in depth look at it.
