England's Premier League truly is the best in the world.

1. Barclay’s Premier League (Fox Soccer Channel)

From August to May, we are glued to FSC; England's Premier League truly is the best in the world. And Manchester United, of course, rules the pack.

2. Homeland (Showtime)

If you'd told me I'd be utterly and completely hooked on a show about a U.S. prisoner of war who may or may not have been turned, I wouldn't have believed you. Thanks to brilliant writing and Claire Danes in the role she was born to play, I would have been wrong.

3. Parenthood (NBC)

It kills me that this show is so under-watched. Here's your chance to rectify that. Truly some of the best portrayals of an extended family on TV today.

4. Bones (Fox)

Bones and Booth have finally gotten together (yay!), but that's not why the show continues to make my top 10 list. The interaction between them—and all the other characters we've come to regard as friends—keeps me watching.

5. Psych (USA)

So odd, yet so hilarious. You can watch these episodes over and over and still catch fresh nuances each time.

6. 2 Broke Girls (CBS)

I liked Kat Dennings before this; now I love her. The premise may seem a tad hokey but, trust me, it holds up. You will laugh out loud at least once per episode.

7. The Big Bang Theory (CBS)

You will laugh out loud more than once with this one. The characters never cease to amuse, and the addition of Mayim Bialik was a brilliant one.

8. Nurse Jackie (Showtime)

Forget about the "nurse addicted to painkillers" story line; the characters here are richly drawn and often hilarious. The drama will tug at you, too.

9. Rizzoli & Isles (TNT)

A female buddy show worth setting your DVR for. And, really, could Angie Harmon be any more adorable?

10. The Killing (AMC)

Forget all the grumbling about the untied ending; the story was captivating, character-rich, and slow-moving—the latter a definite asset, in my book.
